Case study- Double page article

Double Page Article

The double page article is about TV hosts Ant and Dec, the left side of the page is an interview with them and the right side of the page shows a picture of them. The topic of the article is an interview based on “I’m a celebrity”. Also there’s a section which is a summary of the series of i`m a celebrity and other shows they’ve been on, this allows the reader to gain an insight into the celebrities. The interview questions are based on the series and the responses are from Ant and Dec, which allows the readers to be entertained by opinions from the hosts themselves. One of the images show Ant and Dec during Ant`s 40th birthday and the other pictures show the hosts with their wives, this kee
ps the readers informed on celebrity lifestyles so the reader can aspire to how they live. The large picture on the right shows the celebrities, for any male readers this may show the latest fashion to look and feel good.

The target audience may find the article interesting as they get to read about different lifestyles and experiences. The colour of the main cover line is blue and it says “we’ve done 15 series- we want to get 25!” the use of the exclamation mark expresses how they feel and its bold so it stands out and more attention is focused on the cover line and anything in the blue font.

One bit of the article says “Jorgie Porter is brilliant, so cute… she burps like a pig though!” the font of this quote is also blue this shows that it`s meant to stand out to attract the readers. It also makes the reader want to read on because the way it`s phrased is unusual, as you wouldn't expect a celebrity to "burp like a pig"
